TOGETHER for Health​

Overview: TogetHER for Health is a global movement to end cervical cancer. Cervical cancer is the leading cause of cancer death among women, recently surpassing breast cancer in Kenya.

Communication objective: Having never worked in Kenya, the client wanted to develop powerful personal stories from cervical cancer survivors, health care providers, policymakers, and health advocates to build awareness of all aspects of the situation. ​

Output by SPERO: We worked with partner agencies to identify individuals (cancer survivors, doctors, etc.) as case studies; we researched the issues and produced six multimedia pieces, with short documentaries, written stories and photo essays after interviews with women across Kenya’s economic spectrum. ​
